Can I start by saying to those who don’t want a bypass in our village, Llanbedr - get a life.

I have returned to Llanbedr, my birthplace, after 40 years, hoping to find a bypass built.

Even in the '70s and '80s, we all wanted one as the noise of the traffic and fumes by the bridge was horrendous, especially when I was under the bridge tickling trout.

So bring it on now.
