In September 2012 I was asked by a group from St Winfride’s to carry out a structural survey of the church and vestry.

Very briefly, my findings at the time were that, considering the lack of maintenance, the buildings were in a remarkably good structural condition and could easily have been preserved and adapted.

The bishop tried and failed to contradict my findings and various reports appeared in local newspapers.

I would be very happy for the contents of my report to be published or to provide the writer of your letter with a copy.
