A DOUBLE-decker bus became stuck as it tried to turn around on a main road into Criccieth, blocking the road for almost half an hour.

On the morning of Monday, 23 May, on-lookers were left amused as the driver of the Express Motors double-decker bus came into difficulty trying to turn around.

Janet Watson, who submitted this photograph of the bus to the Cambrian News, said: “It was an amusing situation; the bus must have been trying to do a three-point-turn on the main roads when something happened to its gears.
