Madam,

Well this is a story that beggars belief (‘It’s ridiculous that those who really need service can’t get to it’).

Diana Newman was picked up once or twice a week giving her some independence. Then this service was stopped, because the contract has changed, leaving this lady with no means to get out unless she gets to the bus stop.

Well this service was provided before so should be reinstated.

For goodness sake, Penrhyndeudraeth is a small community that needs a service that will pick up people from outside their house, when they are disabled in this way. This service means the difference between having a life worth living to these people or being stuck in all day.

The council needs to address this and not forget these people who need this input to enrich their lives. This would be a small gesture by the council, showing these people are not forgotten.

Yours etc,

Jean Miles, Harlech.
