BOOSTING Ceredigion’s economy, improving access to housing and helping youngsters reach their full educational potential are amongst the five key priorities for Ceredigion Council.
The council has announced its key improvement priorities for 2016/17 and wants to know if the public supports the five priorities.
The priorities agreed by councils are: to improve the delivery of efficient and effective services whilst delivering savings; improving the local economy and job prospects; improve opportunities for all children and families to achieve the best educational outcomes and realise their potential; improve better service models for adults in need; and improve access to appropriate housing, improve housing standards and increase the amount of affordable housing.
The council is now going out to consultation on the five priorities with a questionnaire on the authority’s website and with hard copies of documents available at council offices and libraries.
