A CRICCIETH restaurant has been awarded gold accreditation against the Investors in People standard which recognises commitment to high performance through good people management.
Dylan’s Restaurant Ltd is only one in 20 organisations to achieve gold in Wales, with seven per cent across the UK reaching the top accreditation standard.
Since opening their first restaurant in Menai Bridge in 2012, Dylan’s has seen year on year growth with a second restaurant established in Criccieth last year and plans for a third site in Conwy county.
They recently opened a central production kitchen in Llangefni with additional posts created, bringing their total number of staff to more than 130.
The Investors in People accreditation is the latest in a string of accolades for Dylan’s Restaurant which is Michelin and Harden’s Guide listed. In 2015, the Menai Bridge Restaurant was named as one of Seafish’s top 10 Seafood Restaurants in the UK, and the company was crowned as the Welsh Fast Growth 50 fastest growing tourism and hospitality business in Wales.
Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results.
Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry.
The final Investors in People assessment for Dylan’s recognised excellence in the way business is structured, commitment from the management team and the reciprocal commitment from team members.
