Leading UK holiday park operator, Haven, has launched its brand-new RNLI boats that are mini replicas of the charity’s Severn Class All-Weather Lifeboats to support a fun activity at Hafan y Môr Holiday Park in Pwllheli - one of Haven’s five newly-developed parks.

The RNLI is Haven’s official charity partner for 2019 and they’ll be working together over a three-year period to create a ‘safe haven’ for all families enjoying a coastal holiday.

These replica boats, painted in their eye-catching orange and blue, are modelled on the Severn - the largest lifeboat in the RNLI fleet - and are able to take on the most challenging sea conditions.

These boats will be used in a fun activity that’s new to Hafan y Môr this summer, which will give families the chance to become mini skippers during their holiday. The Boat Adventure activity is perfect for younger guests, as it gives children the opportunity to understand and learn the RNLI’s water safety messaging whilst having fun on a scavenger hunt!

The activity will see guests using a map and the help of their trusty crew to roam unchartered waters whilst navigating their way across the lake to find clues and to complete a fun challenge. Once they complete the challenge and arrive at the ‘port’, kids will have the opportunity to dress up as a RNLI crew member and take memorable holiday photos – they might even get to meet Stormy Stan, the RNLI’s friendly representative for water safety.
