CARDIGAN Swimming Pool’s new co-managers believe they can help transform its fortunes.

Question marks have been hanging over the pool’s future for a number of years, but Emma Pegg and Laura Winter believe it stands on the threshold of an exciting new chapter.

“We are both into fitness, want to bring the building up to date and make sure it’s profitable,” said Laura.

Emma said they would be applying for funding to help the pool’s ongoing battle for survival. There were also plans to introduce several new classes with new instructors.
