THE Talyllyn Railway is celebrating after receiving the 2021 ‘Travellers Choice’ award by TripAdvisor.
The railway also topped the website’s list of the best things to do in North Wales, finishing ahead of attractions such as Cader Idris and Snowdonia National Park.
Railway general manager Stuart Williams said: “We are delighted to be awarded the 2021 TripAdvisor ‘Travellers Choice’ award, which is testament to the efforts of our staff and volunteers to put customer satisfaction at the core of our visitor experience.
“The Talyllyn is celebrating its 70th Year of operating as a preserved railway, operated by volunteers, and prides itself on the friendliness which is borne out by the glowing reviews.”
He added: “ We are not only the highest rated Heritage Railway on TripAdvisor, but are also very proud to be ranked the number one ‘Thing to do’ in North Wales.
