A NUMBER of hair and beauty specialists from north and mid Wales have been shortlisted for the third annual Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards.
The public have been voting for their favourites to be crowned the best in the hair and beauty industry.
And the Mercure Holland House Hotel, Cardiff, will once again play host to the finals on Sunday, 15 May.
The glitzy event endeavours to show appreciation for those in the beauty industry that leave us looking and feeling fantastic; from salons to the talented individuals who work within them.
Irfan Younis of event organisers Creative Oceanic said: “The hair and
beauty industry holds a lot of talent which should be recognised and the Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards will do just that. With fierce competition for all the finalists, we wish everyone taking part, the best of luck.”
The finalists in the different categories include:
Tanning Salon of the Year: Georgia Holmes (Georgia’a Hair Extension
Specialist, Aberystwyth)
Masseuse of the Year:Carly Rimmer (The Spa Plas Talgarth, Machynlleth)
Men’s Stylist of the Year: Jay Bura (Oojufink, Cardigan)
Women’s Stylist of the Year: Meinir Moncrieffe (Moncrieffe Hair, Criccieth)
Hair Salon of the Year North:Cariad at Wallt (Pwllheli); Moncrieffe Hair (Criccieth) and Castle Hair Studio (Harlech)
Hair Salon of the Year Mid Wales: Rees Hair Studio (Machynlleth); Howells & Jones Hair Boutique (Llanybydder) and The Leopard Lounge (Machynlleth)
Hair Salon of the Year South West: Mark Hayward Hair (Newcastle Emlyn)
Team/Service of the Year North: Carole’s Hairstyling (Criccieth) and Moncrieffe Hair (Criccieth)
Team/Service of the Year Mid Wales:Kim Rees (Aberystwyth)
Beauty Salon of the Year North: Tranquillity Beauty Studio (Pwllheli)
