POST Office services have resumed in Garndolbenmaen with the introduction of a mobile service.
The move comes after a gap of over two years following the closure of the village shop and post office.
A number of matters caused delay, including consulting Post Office staff in order to try and find someone prepared to provide an outreach service.

Steve Churchman, who represents Garndolbenmaen on Gwynedd Council and a former sub-postmaster, said: “It is worth pointing out that Post Office always intended to provide a service in the village, but it has taken a lot longer to introduce than residents had hoped for.
"One of the biggest delays was the wait for the telecom connection box for the Post Office equipment, but now it is up and running and I welcome the service to the village.”
