THE railway line between Machynlleth and Newtown has reopened after being closed due to flooding.
National Rail said: "The problem with a river bridge between Machynlleth and Newtown has been resolved, allowing the line to reopen.
"Trains through these stations are returning to normal however some services may be delayed by up to 15 minutes."
Dangerous flooding levels has earlier today affected the rail bridge at Glyntwymyn, also known as Black Bridge, leading to the closure of a section of the line.
