LOCAL historian Will Troughton has provided these two pictures of early RNLI crews in Ceredigion to Timewatch.

The pictures show the lifeboat crew in New Quay in 1905 and the Aberystwyth rescuers from 1895.

Will, who is a curator at the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth provided the pictures to Timewatch, which are part of the extensive archives the library holds.
