A WOMAN from Lampeter has been invited to dine at the Lord Mayor’s dinner.
Cara Bendon, 29, has been chosen to represent the Prince’s Trust charity at this year’s Lord Mayor’s dinner at the historic Mansion House, London.
Cara is a Young Ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, and has been selected to represent successful business owners who have been supported by the charity after setting up her company with the help of the charity in 2012.
Cara was supported by the trust on its year-long Enterprise Programme which helps young people aged 18 to 30 set up their own business.
She was accepted onto the sought-after programme from over 300 applications and set up her own branding agency in 2013, with the business going from strength to strength ever since.
In October 2015, she was appointed as a Young Ambassador, a voluntary role involving attending fund-raising events and giving talks and presentations to young people about the work that the Prince’s Trust does to help those out of work or in vulnerable positions.
