Age Cymru

THE CEREDIGION branch is holding a fund-raising coffee morning in Cardigan Guildhall on Saturday, 21 May, between 10am and 1pm.This is a great chance to come along and mingle with staff volunteers and find out more about the work Age Cymru does.Organisers say it will be a fun and social event for everyone.

They are also calling on all local baking enthusiasts who are willing to bake a cake or even donate a raffle prize to get in touch with the Cardigan office for more information.

THE MONTHLY meeting and AGM took place on Thursday, 28 April.After Pete Mears, the chairman, dealt with important AGM matters and announcements, he introduced Los Hammerton, the afternoon speaker from the astronomy group of the U3A who gave a presentation on rockets.The next meeting will be at the Catholic Church Hall with Celia Richardson on Leprosy Today.
