The Aberdyfi Players have donated over £100 to the Wales Air Ambulance.

The players raised the money on a float at Tywyn Carnival earlier this year, celebrating characters from pantomime performed by the group over the years.

The float won first prize, and as it drove down the High Street, the players collected money in buckets.

“On Sunday we took the cheque to Caernarfon,” said Martin Evans from the group.

“Unfortunately the air ambulance was out doing what it does best – saving people’s lives.

“We donated the £120 we raised.”

Martin was joined by Helen Evans and Su Tacey to donate the money.
