Mid-Wales Woodturners Club

THE CLUB has been in existence for over 10 years, providing a friendly, informative and exciting opportunity for both beginners and experienced wood turners. Following a successful lottery application, they now have an extensive resource library which contains DVDs, specialist tools, books, sharpening system and audio visual equipment for demonstrator presentations.The club usually meets on the third Sunday of each month, from 11am to 5pm at the community centre. The next demonstrator is Richard Findley on 20 March, from 11am-5pm. Richard is a well-known young professional wood turner. His work covers all aspects of woodturning including small production batches and restoration work.Guests are always welcome to check the group out before deciding to join.
