CHARITY O Ddrws i Ddrws, based in the Llyn Peninsula, has received a cheque for £2,000 from Asda’s Carrier Bag Awards.

The funds will go towards maintaining the service, including buses from the Llyn to Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital.

The bus to the hosptial runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon until the end of January, and from January onwards they will start Wednesday mornings as well.

The charity is run with the help of mainly volunteers, with buses also taking people to work, shopping etc when they can’t drive. Receiving the cheque here from Community Champion Jo Scott is Meinir Jones and Glyn Thomas.
