DOLGELLAU and Barmouth Community Hospital League of Friends has been given a cash boost following a table-top sale which raised £715.

Organised by Barmouth League of Friends, the cheque was handed over by Joan Holloway, Jacquie Puddle, and Maria Campbell to Linda Morgan, chairman of the community hospital’s league of friends.

The League of Friends works to improve the care and comfort of patients, visitors and staff, above and beyond what the NHS can fund and provide.

The fund-raising has enabled a wide variety of both medical and non-medical equipment to be provided, all of which has improved the welfare of patients and staff throughout the hospital.
