A MORFA Bychan llama has appeared in the latest edition of the Guinness Book of World Records after setting a new world record for his show-jumping efforts.
Caspa, who lives at The Canine Centre near Porthmadog, cleared a near four foot fence at the DogFest weekend at Arley Hall in Northwich, Cheshire last year.
His owner, Sue Williams, said she couldn’t be more proud of Caspa for setting a new world record.
She said: “We are so proud of Caspa and are delighted that he has set a new Guinness World Record.
“He is a real show off, so it has been the perfect place for him to achieve this record and perform in front of such a big crowd.”
It became obvious to Sue that Caspa was interested in the high jumping after he’s spent hours watching dogs doing agility training at the centre.
Sue added: “There’s something a bit special about Caspa. He’s a bit of a drama queen. There were so many people watching him and he loved it. When he heard the cheers and the counting down, he absolutely revelled in the attention.”
