Beaches in Ceredigion and Gwynedd have been named in the top 10 beaches in Wales to visit this spring.

Traeth Mwnt has been named third best beach to visit by outdoor experts, GO Outdoors.

Gwynedd’s Aberdaron beach came fifth place, and Aberystwyth South Beach in Ceredigion, ninth.

GO Outdoors analysed average spring temperatures, rainfall, sunshine hours and Google reviews to reveal the best spring beaches across Wales The Gower Peninsula’s Rhossili Bay Beach came top.

Traeth Mwnt placed third, scoring 7.16/10. Aberdaron got 7/10 and South Beach, 3.53.
