THE Cambrian News has chosen 30 local good causes to benefit from the nearly £6,000 raised through the 2015 charity Aberystwyth 10k.
Applications were invited for a share of the money raised in the race held at the beginning of December.
The race, which is organised by the Cambrian News, in conjunction with Carl Williams and Aberystwyth Athletics Club, raises thousands of pounds for local charities each year.
Thousands of pounds of sponsorship was also raised by runners, who will be donating their money direct to the charities of their choice.
The successful applicants this year are as follows:
