A classic and rally car run will be held this weekend with the aim of raising money for charity.
The Llanfihangel y Creuddyn Classic & Rally Car Run returns on Bank Holiday Sunday with the hope of attracting classic and interesting cars to take part in the run.
Running since 2017, the Llanfihangel Car Run has raised thousands for charities.
Due to the pandemic the run was unable to take place in 2020, so people are very much looking forward to its return this year.
Any road legal vehicle is welcome. There are no rules on type or age.
One of the organisers, Caitlin Morse, said: “If you have a vehicle you love and is old or interesting, or special in any way, then you are very welcome to bring it along.”
This year the proceeds will be going to Mind Ceredigion.
Caitlin added: “Mind are a charity who are committed to improving mental health.
“They are an asset to our communities.
“The pandemic has affected the mental health of so many people over the past 16 months, so the event will be raising money to help support the fabulous work that they do.”
Members of St Michael’s in Llanfihangel will be offering refreshments at the start along with the opportunity to learn more about the fantastic conservation work being carried out at the church at present.
Vehicles are welcome to arrive from 11am and the run will commence at 1pm.
“If you don’t have a vehicle you’d like to bring, just come along to see them at the start, or when they arrive back,” Caitlin added.
After the event, people are invited to a barbecue in Y Ffarmers from 5pm.
