BRONGLAIS Hospital’s chemotherapy day unit and Gwenllian Maternity Ward will share almost £750 thanks to a charity football match.

Teams from Plascrug Leisure Centre and Aberystwyth’s Royal Mail depot took part in the fundraising match, which was organised by Stephen Beresford from the leisure centre and Rob Maka from Royal Mail.

They collected £745 thanks to player donations, collection buckets, admission fees and the sale of raffle tickets.
