A CONCERT to raise money for the family of a young woman and six-month-old baby, killed in a collision last month, has raised over £3,000.
Around 250 people turned up to the charity concert at Neuadd Goffa in Penrhyndeudraeth on Saturday, with music from Bryn Fôn a’i Fand, Gwibdaith Hen Frân and Alistair James.
Organisers said this week they were still collecting money for the night and had made at least £3,000.
All proceeds raised from the evening will go towards the family of Anna Williams, 22, from Penrhyndeudraeth and six-month-old Mili Wyn Ginniver from Blaenau Ffestiniog. Both died following a collision on the A487 near Gellilydan last month and Mili’s mother, Sioned, remains in hospital.
