Madam,

I am writing to say that I fully agree with Father Evans and the comments he made in the Cambrian News (Priest tackles bishop over shocking church renovation) regarding St Winefride’s Church.

It is a beautiful building and common sense says that it should be fully refurbished as an active place of worship or at the very least should be used for accommodation. Above all, it should remain standing as it enhances Aberystwyth town.

My second point is on the park and ride service.

It drops those who use it at the council buildings, doctors’ surgery and Bronglais Hospital. It is very useful, especially for elderly people.

If it was cancelled people would have to cross a busy road to access the hospital. Please let the park and ride service continue.
