A CLASSIC car run held in memory of a popular Lampeter personality raised over £6,000 for brain tumour research.

Organised by Islwyn Evans and Delun Evans, of Lampeter and District Motor Club, the event was held in memory of the club’s president, Greg Evans (pictured), a member since its very early days.

Ninety classic and rally cars gathered at the Rookery car park with people coming all over the country to in order to participate.

The organisers would like to thank everyone for their donations, all who donated prizes, the marshals and spectators who lined the route, Dyfed-Powys Police and the University of Wales Trinity Saint Davids Lampeter campus.
