THE Cambrian News has teamed up with Aberystwyth Arts Centre to offer our readers the chance to see Sell a Door Theatre’s production of the Roald Dahl classic, James and the Giant Peach, later this month.

The timeless classic follows the adventurous, young James and his friends – Miss Spider, Old-Green-Grasshopper, Centipede, Ladybird and Earthworm.

Beginning at the end of the story, like all great tales do, James and his friends are living in the giant peach stone in Central Park, New York, but the real story lies in how they got there, all the way from the White Cliffs of Dover.

Living under the rule of his evil aunts, Spiker and Sponge, James fears he will never be allowed to have fun again - but then he meets an old man who gives him a bag containing the ingredients for the strongest magic potion in the world.

When James accidentally spills it near an old peach tree, he finds himself on the greatest adventure of his life.

Suitable for all the family, Sell a Door Theatre’s production is on 26 to 31 July and we have one family ticket for a matinee performance, and one pair of tickets for any performance (subject to availability).
