A celebration took place at Dolgellau Rugby Club to honour the contribution of club president, Iwan Parry, who has stepped down after 22 years in the role.
The clubhouse was full of vice-presidents, past players, members and sponsors.
Club chairman, Peredur Jenkins, acknowledged the contribution that Iwan has made to club activities, including the new developments and substantial changes that have taken place there during his period as president.
Iwan said the club had contributed to the community of Dolgellau, and was very proud of the success of that.
The chairman presented Iwan with a painting of Cader Idris by local artist, Richard Morgan, who is also a past player and captain.
He thanked him again, and said his record of being president for 22 years “will be his for a very, very long time”.
