Bridge club

WINNERS on 18 October were Keith Bellamy and Gill Howells, with John Valentine and Mike Jones second and Herbie Rowley and Nigel Symons Jones third.

With 32 honour points between them with a missing Ace, John and Mike bid 6 Spades on board 20 but Keith and Gill went one better by bidding 6 No Trumps.

Afternoon tuition for beginners and improvers continues on 1pm on Wednesdays in the Royal British Legion Hall.

Go along if you want to enjoy this exciting and mentally stimulating ‘mind sport’ in a friendly club atmosphere.

Aberaeron bridge club meets in the Royal British Legion Hall each Thursday at 6.40pm prompt – newcomers are eagerly welcomed.
