RAY Ceredigion
THE AGM of Aberaeron-based charity RAY Ceredigion will be held at their Tabernacle Street headquarters on Saturday.
“The AGM is a fun afternoon which starts at 12.45pm with tea and coffee,” said a spokesperson.
“We will have a presentation celebrating all the great projects and activities we have delivered during 2019 and all the new plans we have for 2020.
“Then at 2pm there will be tea, cake and live music entertainment from the Carmarthen Ukulele Orchestra who are amazing!
“If you know any community-minded individuals who might be willing to attend an evening meeting once every couple of months encourage them to come to the AGM and volunteer to join the wonderful RAY committee.”

Bridge club
CHRIS Dennis and John Valentine were the joint winners with Dai Hayes and Ron Jones on 23 January.
Dawn Claxton and Sally Davies were joint third with Gill Howells and Keith Bellamy.
Dawn and Sally bid and made a small slam in spades despite being in a 4:3 trump fit.
They were able to draw the defenders’ trumps who had four spades in one hand and two spades in the other.
On another board, Keith and Gill made a slam in hearts but Chris and John earned 10 more points by bidding 6 No Trumps.
Aberaeron Bridge Club meets in the Royal British Legion Hall each Thursday at 6.40pm.
Duplicate bridge sessions for Improvers continues on Wednesday afternoons starting at 1pm.
