P R E S I D E N T Eleanor Evans welcomed everyone to the February meeting.

There were very few matters arising from last month’s meeting so Eleanor reminded members that any unpaid subs were due, also to remember to donate any spectacles that were no longer needed, and that the National Eisteddfod will be held in August.

The guest speaker was Jane Dodgeon who, along with Jonathan and Diana, came to tell them about Love Life Projects, set up in 2001 as a community-based vehicle to promote services for young adults with learning difficulties.

They focus on upcycling and Jonathan showed some of the craft items they make.

Diana spoke about the allotment LLP were given which, due to much hard work, produced lots of vegetables and strawberries. J Chris Williams thanked Jane, Jonathan and Diana.

Jane judged the competition, which Anne Evans won and Jacqui Thomas came second. Jackie Swetman won the raffle.

The evening finished with tea and biscuits served by Anne Williams and Marion Bowen.
