Welsh Ponies and Cobs Festival

ALTHOUGH this year’s festival was only held a few months ago, arrangements are well in hand for next year’s event.

Preparing a six-hour programme featuring only horses is quite a task, but the committee have built up a great deal of experience by now, and next year’s event will be their 15th event.

The festival committee would love to welcome new members, whether they keep horses or not. The small, hard-working committee meet on the last Thursday of every month at the Feathers Hotel at 8pm.

The date of next year’s event is Sunday, 13 August.
