WI

THE annual treasure hunt was due to be held in and around the Square Field, but due to the wet weather it was held in the Feathers Hotel.

The clues were placed around and about, but there were a few that needed a quick visit outside to solve them.

There was also a picture quiz which was very mind-taxing, so they were very much ready to eat their delicious meal.

President Neris Lloyd thanked Karen Wright and Sharon Taylor who had compiled the quiz, and the winners were Liz Owen, Rosemary Lewis, and Sylvia and Robin Henson.

The raffle was won by Liz Owen.

All in all it was a very enjoyable evening for everyone.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, 6 September, in the British Legion Hall when Heather Summers will give a talk on Drum Fun.
