Bridge Club

Winners ‘by a few lengths’ this week were Keith Bellamy and Gill Howells, with last week’s front runners Dai Hayes and Dylan Raw-Rees second, closely followed by Mair Harrison and Chris Dennis.

Sally Davies and Jim Simpson made the only slam of the evening with an overtrick. The double of the Stayman convention – indicating a club lead – proved the key for defeating a No Trumps contract.

Aberaeron Bridge Club meets in the Royal British Legion Hall each Thursday at the earlier time of 6.45p, – newcomers are eagerly welcomed. For further information, please phone 01239 811718.
