Bridge Club
DAI Hayes and Dylan Raw-Rees were first on the 23 November, with Chris Dennis and Dawn Claxton a worthy second and Jen Harris and Ted Morgan third.
Dai and Dylan were again first in the duplicate played on the 30th November, with Gill Howells and Keith Bellamy second and Sally Davies, our stalwart director and Jim Simpson coming third. Two pairs bid small slams and had slams bid against them, but all were eclipsed by the grand slam bid by Gill and Keith.
The club will play in the Celtic Simultaneous Pairs on 7 December.
Aberaeron Bridge Club meets in the Royal British Legion Hall each Thursday at 6.45pm - new members welcome.
Afternoon tuition for beginners and improvers is being held on Wednesdays starting at 1pm in the Feathers Hotel.
For further information on attending either on Wednesday or Thursday, phone the club secretary on 01239 811718.
