ROTARY members have thanked all those who supported the event they held on Thursday, 3 May at Neuadd Mynach, Cwmtirmynach.

The speaker, author Clare Mackintosh, was very well received and £450 was raised in support of the Silver Star Charity which supports those going through high risk pregnancies.

On 16 June, an Alzheimer’s Society coffee morning event will be held at the Football Pavilion in Bala from 10am till noon.

The cost is £2 to include tea/coffee and cake.

There will also be a raffle, tombola and cake stall.

Carers Outreach support group

THE NEXT meeting of the Carers Group will be Monday, 11 June from 2pm till 4pm.

They meet at the White Lion, Tegid Room in Bala every second Monday of the month.
