Charity show
ON 7 November, members of Bermo Arts Club put on a charity show in the Dragon Theatre Arts Room in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
It was to commemorate those who suffered or were killed in the war and to celebrate the armistice that ended it and consisted of popular songs, readings and poetry from that time.
A large and enthusiastic audience joined in with the singing and a special mention must be given to Jenny James, our pianist for the evening, especially for the patience she showed during our sometimes chaotic rehearsals.
Including a raffle, the evening raised £150 for the Poppy Appeal.
Christmas bingo
THE annual Friends of the School Christmas bingo is booked for Tuesday, 4 December, at 7pm to be held in Ysgol y Traeth.
Tickets will be available at the door.
Tempting prizes will be on offer!
Funds raised will help the pupils at Ysgol y Traeth.
