Theatre summary

DURING the year the Dragon Theatre hosted all kinds of events including 35 Films, 18 Music Events, nine Touring Theatre Shows, seven Community Produc-tions plus many more just under 100 altogether. The facility is owned and run by the Barmouth community and continues to widen its appeal so that there is something for people of all ages and interests. Manager Alison Williams is looking forward to the coming year and has produced the latest Dragon Diary which can be found on the theatres website http://www.dragontheatre.co.uk

Friday Film

8 DAYS A WEEK will be the film for January and will be shown on 13 Friday at the Dragon Theatre starting at 7.30pm. It is the story of the Beatles, the touring years and shows where perhaps modern music culture had its roots.

Hafan Deg

HELEN and some of her residents held an Afternoon Tea on New Years Eve, an excellent spread was put on. A raffle was held and a sum of £50 was raised which has been donated to the Barmouth Defibrillator Fund.

Winner

THE Rocking horse, as displayed in the window of Et Cetera over Christmas, which was being raffled in aid of the Lifeboat was won by Mike Triggs.
