Garden project

BLAENAU Ffestiniog Garden Project has been chosen to benefit from the Co-op Local Community Fund.

The aim of the community garden is to contribute a healthy lifestyle by providing fresh, safe, affordable herbs, fruits and vegetables, helping to relieve stress and increase a sense of wellness, also to bring the community together and to get people active, which improves overall physical health.

To help them raise vital funds, they’ll be relying on Co-op members.

When a member buys selected products or services from the Coop they earn a five per cent reward for themselves, with a further one per cent for local causes.

Co-op members can choose a cause by going online www.coop. co.uk/membership

If you’re not a member and would like to support, you can join at your local store or online at www.coop.co.uk

The person using the hut will come back to the town council when they have received further information about the equipment in it.
