Defibrillator
HAVING discussed a notice of motion by Cllr Kevin Baldwin for the council to consider installing a defibrillator on the outside of the council building, with running costs to be met by the council, it was decided to discuss it further after receiving more information. It would cost around £1,300, but as the council is the tenant of Antur Stiniog, their permission was needed before placing anything on the exterior of the building. There are several defibrillators located in the area, but only one - at the fire station - is outside a building. The council is to invite representatives of the local branch of Wales Heart Research to discuss this matter further and then they can debate the motion again.
