Calfaria Chapel
THIS week came the official notice that Calfaria Welsh Baptist Chapel on Towyn Road has closed.

As from now only Carmel, Bowydd, Bethesda, Hyfrydfa and Bethel, Ffestiniog chapels remain open.
As is the case for most of the closures the reason here was the lack of members.
It follows another Baptist Church, the Seion on Lord Street, and Jerusalem and Bethania Independent Chapels which were closed a few years ago.

Five new bins with the town council logo on them have been ordered which are to replace the old ones at the park with one of the existing bins there to be moved to the Oakeley Square field.
