Trees
THE Dref Werdd has made a request for the town council to consider working together for the future to try and plant trees in Bro Ffestiniog.
Representatives
BOTH Cwmni Cymunedol Bro Ffestiniog and Manod Primary School have requested the Town Council to elect a representative on the former and one onto the School’s Board of Governors.
Auditor
FOLLOWING the retirement of Mr John Roberts as the Town Council Internal Accounts Auditor Luned Fôn Jones who is part of Gwynedd Council’s internal audit team has agreed to offer a service as an internal auditor and the Council is to consider the appointment.

THE author and artist Remy Dean will have a variety of his craft work on show at the Maenofferen Gallery until 13 January, and admission is free during the library’s opening hours.
Skate
THE Youth Club has requested that the town council release the money raised by young people who use the skate park to the Youth Club.
In reply, the council explained that it cannot release the money as it is used to spend on new equipment on the said skate park site.
The council has paid to clear the motorcycles tracks off the skate park to make way for a Four-Way Fun Box to be built there, with the hope that it is available for use by the spring.
As for the new attraction, Cllr Annwen Daniels has agreed to chat with those who use the skate park with Cllr Will G Roberts having agreed to take responsibility for its construction.
Choirs
THE Rhiannedd y Moelwyn Ladies Choir, conducted by Sylvia Ann Jones and accompanist Anwen Roberts, entertained the shoppers and staff of the Tesco Store, Porthmadog on Monday with a selection of Christmas carols before joining Gareth Roberts for more carols at the Pengwern, Llan Ffestiniog later that day.
Then on Friday, Sylvia Ann Jones conducted the Moelwyn Male Choir for their annual Christmas carol singing concert at the Royal Oak Hotel, Betws y Coed.
