Parking

The council has agreed to go into a car park partnership with Gwynedd Council.

The Diffwys and Station car parks could be part of the scheme which will mean the community council can receive 10 per cent of the income.

This would mean that 10p would be added to the parking fee. To give an idea how much the town council could receive, the 2016/17 income figure was £31,597.10 so the extra 10 per cent would be around £3,159.71 per annum. The town council has recommended that the money will be used towards running the Diffwys toilets when an agreement has been reached between them and county council.
