BLAENAU Amateurs FC were beaten 4-3 at Aberffraw and are away again this Saturday at Llanfairpwll.

Bro Ffestiniog XV had a quick Division 1 North league double over Mold having beaten them away they were the winners again at Dolawel on Saturday.

Pavilion

THE council was informed that improvements need to be made on the park pavilion before it is offered for letting with the hot water system, indoor and outdoor lighting and other small works needing to be updated.

Advice

A REPRESENTATIVE of the Citizens Advice Bureau will now be at the new health centre between 10am and 1pm on Mondays.

No appointment needed.

Bowling

BLAENAU’S first match of the season at home against Bangor was postponed due to the weather. They are at Llanrwst this Saturday.

Trees

COUNCILLORS Rory Francis and Ronwen D Roberts attended a meeting of Y Dref Werdd to discuss planting trees.

There is an opportunity to plant native trees instead of the rhododendron.

In public areas there will be discussions with the public to see if they would prefer fruit trees.

THE council is to find out more about the requirements for signing the British Sign Language Charter.

Toilets

THE Town Council has agreed to pay £4,000 towards the cost of running the local public toilets throughout the year and that a fee should be charged for the use of the Diffwyd public toilets.
