LAST month they enjoyed a day in Llangollen where, in beautiful weather they embarked on a peaceful horse drawn ride on the canal.

It was lovely to watch the wildlife, the ducks and the gardens alongside the water.

After lunch and a bit of shopping they meandered slowly along the tranquil walk by the river enjoying the scenery and sunshine.

This month saw a welcome return of Ann Roberts who demonstrated how to make a starter of melon and grapefruit, an unusual soufflé and a delicious coffee cake with a twist!

These were all sampled enthusiastically by members who agreed she should come again very soon!

Thank you to Ann for all your hard work in collecting and bringing in all the ingredients and then preparing these three items.
