Christmas Market

PENLLWYN Christmas Market will be held at the school on 14 December, between 6pm and 8pm.

Santa will be waiting to greet young visitors in his grotto with a little help from Cylch Meithrin Penllwyn.

With an outdoor market, Christmas lights, entertainment by Ysgol Penllwyn pupils and a visit from Hannah Englekamp’s donkeys, it promises to be an enjoyable evening for the whole family.

Ysgol Penllwyn celebrated its 50th birthday earlier this year and head teacher said: “I am extremely keen to strengthen the relationship between Ysgol Penllwyn, the village of Capel Bangor and the surrounding area.

“We hope that funds raised will go towards improving our outdoor area for the benefit of the whole community.

“The school council has loads of ideas, and we would really like the input of local residents too! So please, support your local school, and nurture a community.”
