Support bus

MACMILLAN Cancer Support’s brand-new Welsh information and support bus, Bronwen, will be in Tregaron, Cardigan, Lampeter and Aberystwyth this week.

Bronwen comes with her friendly team of Macmillan information and support specialists, a new team of frontline health and social care professionals with years of experience in caring and supporting people living with cancer.

The new bus hosts two electronic information screens, a private room for sensitive conversations and two Ipads to enable people to find the information they need on the spot.

The team would like to encourage anyone living in these areas or simply passing by who have questions about cancer to come and say hello.

On Wednesday, 11 October, Bronwen will be outside the Aldi on Aberystwyth Road in Cardigan between 9am and 3pm.

Bronwen will be in Lampeter on Thursday, 12 October, outside the Co-op on Lower Bridge Street, from 10am to 4pm.

On both Friday, 13 October and Saturday, 14 October, the bus and her team will be parked up opposite NatWest on Owain Glyndwr Square in Aberystwyth.

They will be available for visitors between 8am and 5pm on the Friday and between 8am and 3pm on the Saturday.
