THE ANNUAL general meeting was held on 1 November and the guest for the evening and teller was Brenda Wright.

The following officials were elected for the coming year: Davina Jones, president; Eleri Thomas, vice president; Bethan Davies, secretary; Rhoda Healey, minutes secretary; Anne Davies, treasurer; Irene Adams, refreshments organiser; Barbara Davies, MCS/press.

Retiring president Pat Slotboom gave a brief description of the past year’s activities and social events which were many and were greatly enjoyed by all members.

Pat thanked all the officials for their work throughout the year and congratulated the new officials.

This was followed by a scrumptious buffet provided by members.

All welcome to join the WI at their next meeting on 15 November when they will have a taster evening of members’ favourite recipes.
