LAMPETER is blooming, with bright, beautiful flowers in tubs throughout the town and hanging on brackets on the street lights.
It’s a spectacular display for residents and tourists, a delight of bees and butterflies and gives a sense of holiday for the visitors.

On 29 July, the university grounds were busy with the Food Festival.
In the quad, the people’s market, usually in the Victoria Hall, was busy with its usual live music and artisan stalls.
Meanwhile in the performance marque there was drumming and belly dancing.
There were a variety stalls and displays.
A great start to carnival week which culminated in the carnival parade on 4 August, and the sports events on the memorial field.
